Adapted from Gavin Mortimer's book about sea-swimmers Gertrude Ederle, Lillian Cannon and the summer of 1926 when the world caught 'Channelitis'. Could one of the five female athletes attempting to cross The Channel that summer really succeed? A story of healthy competition, dirty tricks and a media frenzy.
